Se acabo el suspenso, ya no existe la amenaza de un Cataclismo, Colapso, Catastrofe y tantos calificativos que se le dio al destino de la economia norteamericana. Ahora parece que todos estaran contentos (Tutti Contenti) porque habra dinero para todos una vez que se aceptaron modificaciones al paquete incluyendo el que limitara los salarios de los ejecutivos cuyas compañías se beneficiarán del rescate.

Everybody will be happy with the imminent approval of the rescue plan. Executive pay will be under control and billions of taxpayes money will be used.
Congressional Republicans and Democrats have agreed in principle on a $700 billion bailout of the financial industry, and said they would present it to the Bush administration in hopes of a vote within days.

Nineteen prisoners have been killed and a dozen wounded in a second riot in less than a week at a jail in the Mexican border city of Tijuana. The latest riot erupted with deadly force on Wednesday.

Fear and nervousness in Wall Street today after Lehman Brothers said it will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, while Merrill Lynch agreed to sell itself to Bank of America for about $50 billion.
